  • Day 1

    Day 1: Arrival – Dar es Salaam

    On arrival at Dar es Salaam Airport, you will be met by a Safari Box Adventures representative and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Dar es Salaam is a vibrant city where bustling markets, beautiful beaches, and rich culture await. Relax after your flight or take a brief city excursion before your adventure begins.

  • Day 2-4

    Days 2–4: Nyerere National Park – Rufiji River Camp

    After breakfast, you’ll transfer to the airport for your flight to Nyerere National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy a short game drive en route to Rufiji River Camp.
    Nyerere, formerly Selous Game Reserve, is Tanzania’s largest national park, shaped by the mighty Rufiji River. It’s the only place in Tanzania where boat safaris run alongside classic game drives and guided walks. Predators such as lions, leopards, and African wild dogs roam freely, while herds of wildebeest, buffalo, impala, and warthogs graze the miombo woodlands. Along the river, watch colorful birds dart and nest.

    Days 5–7: Ruaha National Park – Ruaha River Lodge

    After a morning activity, return to the airstrip for your flight to Ruaha National Park, greeted on arrival by a lodge guide.
    Ruaha, Tanzania’s second-largest national park, is a wildlife crossroads with diverse species, including the largest lion population in Tanzania. The Ruaha River draws elephants, lions, kudu, buffalo, and hippos year-round. With a well-maintained road network, explore the park by game drive or unwind on your veranda as wildlife passes by.

    Day 8: Departure

    After breakfast and a final morning game drive, transfer to the airstrip for your flight back to Dar es Salaam. From there, you can connect to your international flight or continue your stay in Dar es Salaam.
