Day 1
Day 1: Arrival – Entebbe• Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, where your Safari Box Adventures representative will welcome you.
• Transfer to your hotel in Entebbe and relax.
• Explore the lakeside town at leisure: stroll through the Botanical Gardens, visit local markets, or take a boat cruise on Lake Victoria.
• Overnight: Hotel in Entebbe
Day 2
Day 2: Entebbe → Bwindi Impenetrable Forest• Take a scenic flight from Entebbe to Kihihi airstrip (approx. 1 hour), followed by a 90-minute drive to Bwindi Forest.
• Check-in at your lodge near Bwindi National Park.
• Optional afternoon: forest walk or cultural visit in the local community. • Overnight: Lodge in Bwindi Forest
Day 3
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking – Bwindi Forest• Early morning gorilla trek with experienced guides and trackers. Treks range from 45 minutes to 8 hours depending on gorilla location.
• Spend one hour observing mountain gorillas up close an unforgettable encounter.
• Optional afternoon: forest walks, community visits, or relaxation at the lodge.

Day 4
Day 4: Optional Second Gorilla Trek / Bwindi Activities• Opportunity for a second gorilla trek (additional permit required) or leisure activities:
o Community village walk
o Forest birding walk
o Visit local projects such as Ride for a Woman
• Overnight: Lodge in Bwindi Forest
Day 5
Day 5: Bwindi → Entebbe / Mabamba Swamp• Return flight to Entebbe and transfer to your hotel.
• Afternoon boat excursion to Mabamba Swamp to spot the rare Shoebill and other birdlife.
• Overnight: Hotel in Entebbe
Day 6
Day 6: Entebbe → Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary → Murchison Falls National Park• Drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided rhino tracking experience.
• Continue to Murchison Falls National Park, with a stop for the Top of the Falls walk to witness the Nile plunging through a narrow gorge.
• Check-in at your lodge overlooking the Nile.

Day 7
Day 7: Murchison Falls – Game Drives & Nile Cruise• Early morning game drive in Murchison Falls National Park, home to elephants, buffalo, giraffes, lions, and abundant birdlife.
• Afternoon Nile cruise to the base of the falls to view hippos, crocodiles, and stunning wildlife along the riverbanks.

Day 8
Day 8: Murchison Falls – Optional Chimp Trekking / Game Drives• Morning optional chimpanzee trekking in Budongo Forest (approx. 1-hour encounter).
• Afternoon game drive through the park to spot more wildlife.

Day 9: Murchison Falls → Entebbe / Departure• Return drive to Entebbe for your onward flight.
