4 Days / 3 Nights Mount Meru Climb – 2026 (3-day option also available)
Home / Tour /

Mount Meru is located inside Arusha National Park, approximately 80 km west of Mount Kilimanjaro. Rising to 4,566 meters, it is Tanzania’s second-highest mountain and an excellent acclimatization trek before attempting Mount Kilimanjaro.
This trek offers fewer crowds, outstanding scenery, and unique wildlife encounters. Because Mount Meru lies within a protected national park, all climbers are accompanied by an armed ranger. Wildlife frequently seen includes giraffes, buffalo, warthogs, antelope, and occasionally elephants.
Accommodation throughout the climb is in well-maintained mountain huts, making Mount Meru a comfortable yet adventurous trekking experience.
